However, due to the litigation-happy society we live in, we were left with no choice. Please, take 10 minutes and read this entire document. Contract Between SwiftNET.org and Users.
By registering on this system, you agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined in this document. So you really ought to read it in full.

Private System
SwiftNET.org is a privatly-operated on-line computer system which offers users access to a vast library of shareware, private E-mail, and public and private conferences and forums.

Rights of Users
SwiftNET.org can grant or revoke usage rights at any time, for any reason.

Privacy
SwiftNET.org neither guarantees nor warrants the privacy of any electronic communication. While the administrator(s) of SwiftNET.org will strive to respect the privacy of users, normal operation of an on-line system sometimes requires administrator(s) to inspect the contents of files and messages for viruses, copyright and trademark infringement, damage, libel and slander. Every effort will be made to respect the privacy of mail messages within the limits of safe system operation.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES, LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES, INDEMNIFICATION
SwiftNET.org and/or the Aministrator(s) of SwiftNET.org make no warranties whatsoever, expressed or implied. SwiftNET.org does not warranty the functionality, content, or services associated with the use of SwiftNET.org by any user, regardless of country or jurisdiction from which user may connect to SwiftNET.org.
SwiftNET.org makes no warranties or representations concerning the veracity, or accuracy of any file, message, or other content item contained on SwiftNET.org.
SwiftNET.org makes no warranties or representations regarding the suitability, operability and safety of any program or file posted on the BBS for any intended purpose.
SwiftNET.org assumes no liability of any kind for any damage, actual or alleged, to any computer system or the contents of any computer system connected to SwiftNET.org.
SwiftNET.org and its Administrator(s) specifically disclaim any warranty with regard to the availability of the service and access with regard to the information and software obtained from the service, including any and all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
All information and files that you obtain from SwiftNET.org are provided 'as is'. Electronic mail is a service provided by the system. On occasion, we will be asked to intervene in disputes between users, or on the behalf of legal agencies. In this event, personal email may be monitored by the operators of this system.
In no event will SwiftNET.org or its Administrator(s) be liable for your inability to access the BBS or for any damage you suffer, including, but not limited to, destruction of data or damage to your equipment, whether such damage is direct, incidental or consequential, and whether caused by mistake, omission, interruption, deletion of files or messages, errors, defects, delays in operation or transmission, failure of equipment or performance, negligence or otherwise. You agree to indemnify and hold SwiftNET.org and its Administrator(s) harmless against any claim arising from your use of the board which causes damage to any party.
The total liability of SwiftNET.org and its Administrator(s) for damages to you shall be limited to the amount one month's Membership's contribution (if any), for access in the year in which the damages were incurred.
